You could support Age UK East Sussex achieve its objectives and ensure that charitable regulatory requirements are met. As a Trustee of Age UK East Sussex, you will be working with a team of other Trustees to make decisions about the charity’s strategic plans. You’ll need to be available to attend our Board’s bi-monthly meetings. When making decisions about the charity, you must: • act within your powers. • act in good faith, and only in the interests of your charity. • make sure you are sufficiently informed, taking any advice you need. • take account of all relevant factors you are aware of. • ignore any irrelevant factors. • deal with conflicts of interest and loyalty. • make decisions that are within the range of decisions that a reasonable trustee body could make in the circumstances.
