Social Prescribing Volunteer Administrator

We want you to join our team of Volunteer Administrators to support Social Prescribing within the local community. You’ll get to work with a great team of volunteers and make a huge difference in the lives of older persons. Social Prescribing connects older people to practical and emotional support by providing a person-centred holistic approach. Social prescribing might include community wellbeing groups, services to resolve socio-economic problems, mindfulness or counselling groups, or other beneficial community services.
As a Volunteer Administrator with the Social Prescribing Team, you’ll undertake a variety of day-to-day administrative activities using Microsoft Word and Excel, and also ensure the Social Prescribers have their required printed materials. You’ll also be telephoning our Social Prescribing clients to obtain feedback on the services received. The time commitment required is usually a minimum of three hours per week, but we’re also happy to have more flexible times. We’ll provide all the training and support that you need and its really easy to start the volunteering process with us.
